School Meals
We believe it is really important that children have a healthy, nutritious and tasty meal at lunchtime. There is lots of research showing that a balanced school dinner can help concentration levels in lessons, and develop long term healthy eating habits.

Years - Reception, 1 and 2
In September 2014 the Government introduced policy that entitled all children in years Reception, 1 and 2 to receive a Free School Meal (known as a Universal Free School Meals). Parents and guardians with children in these school years do not need to make an application to the Council to obtain Free School Meals.

Years - 3 and 4
Pupils in years 3 and 4 are required to pay for their school meals. Please send payments for meals required for the forthcoming week on Monday morning . It should be placed in a sealed envelope with the child's name, class and amount enclosed clearly written on the front. Cash or cheque (payable to Interserve Catering Services) is accepted. Alternatively you may choose to make a pre-payment for a month, half term or whole term in advance.

School Dinners are currently £2.15 per day or £10.75 per week
