We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision ensures that each child’s individual needs are met, allowing them to access a full, engaging education. We work closely with students, parents, and external specialists to create personalised learning plans and remove barriers to learning. Every child is valued and given the resources, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
Our school SENCO is Mrs. Sonia Shires
Our SEND Governor is Rev Louise Moore
Consultation regarding proposed closure of the SEMH ARP
The Governing Board has taken the very difficult decision to not renew the Service Level Agreement with the Local Authority, but instead is proposing to close the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) at Silsoe VC Lower School.
Please see the links for the public notice and consultation document.
Your input is important, and we encourage all parents, carers, staff, and community members to participate in the consultation process.
Thank you for you continued support and engagement.
