Welcome Back to Year 2

It is a pleasure to welcome you back to year 2. This term we have lots of exciting learning opportunities as well as our trip to Herrings Green Farm, Sports Week and our transition day to year 3.

Ways you can help: 

  • Read together as much as possible.
  • Ask your child questions about what they are reading to check that they understand the story of information that they are reading.
  • Practise Year 1 and 2 common exception words that we distributed at parents evening for both reading and spelling. Please ask your child’s teacher if you need another copy.
