Ways you can help:

To help your child at home please read together as much as possible. It is useful to ask your child questions about what they are reading to check that they understand the story of information that they are reading. It is also to practise year 1 and 2 common exception words we distributed at parents evening for both reading and spelling. Please ask your child’s teacher if you need another copy.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to come and speak to a member of the year 2 team before or after school or make an appointment via the school office.
