Silsoe Lower School Parent Forum
We are delighted to introduce our Parent Forum, a collaborative partnership between parents and the school.
This forum will provide a valuable opportunity to share ideas, celebrate successes, and explore suggestions for continued improvement.
Our aim is to create a space where families and staff can work together, ensuring parents and carers have a meaningful voice in their child’s education. By further strengthening this partnership, we hope to continue to enhance the educational experience and provision at Silsoe School.
How often does the Forum meet?
The Forum will meet at least once a term for no longer than one hour.
The meeting will take place at 6pm in school.
The meetings will be advertised on the school website and through the school newsletter.
What will be discussed at the meetings?
Anything related to improving the school and further developing the partnership between the school and parents. In advance of the meeting focus will be sent out to all parents.
Questionnaires will be sent out prior to the meeting to seek ideas on the same topic.
A parent forum newsletter will then be sent out following the meeting to share actions and news from the questionnaires and parent forum meetings.
What will not be discussed at the meetings?
Concerns or complaints involving individual children, families or members of staff. These issues should be raised with the class teacher, senior leadership team or Headteacher in a confidential meeting.
