This year, the school has been able to organise a number of events which have raised money for charity. These have included Jeans for Genes, Children in need, Harvest collection and the Poppy appeal. We are overwhelmed by your generosity and are very proud to share that so far this year we have collected £1057.69 for charities including Children in Need, the British Legion, Genetic Disorders UK and The Bishops Charities. In addition to this amazing total, we have also recently run our toy service where we collected a huge number of toys to help support the Salvation Army in supporting families at this special time of year. Thank you everyone who has given anything and know that every penny is appreciated by the people that receive your help. We still have our Christmas jumper day and the collection at the Christmas Service so we look forward to supporting more charities and helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Today we have been learning all about how to stay safe on the roads. The children have completed activities in the classes including ordering the stages of crossing the roads, debating their thoughts about road safety.
Also we had a special visitor, a Lollypop Lady, who came in to talk to us about how to stay safe. Remember... stop, look, listen and think! |
