After returning to school, the children all received their own slice of Easter in the form of a hot cross bun. The children really enjoyed their tasty treat and were polite when thanking the year 4 buddies who helped to hand them out.
Towards the end of the day, we gathered together again, we celebrated the team who won the Grafham Cup for team work, the amazing children who have achieved 100% attendance this term and wished the children happy birthday before we are together again.
Finally, our second sad goodbye was to Mrs Ryan, she started by leading the whole school (adults included) in one of our 5aday exercise videos before the year 3 performed a dance. Then she received her gifts from the children, staff, parents and governors. After 12 years of enthusiastic, hard work to support every child to enter her classroom and every adult with any computing problems she will be greatly missed by staff, children and parents alike.
We are very lucky in our school to have incredible teachers like Mrs O'Neil and Mrs Ryan so whenever they leave to chase a new adventure we wish them the best and wait to hear of their new achievements.
We would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter, we look forward to seeing you all ready to learn in the Summer Term and look forward to welcoming Mrs Parker.
